Psalm XI

  1. May the Lord listen to you on the day of tribulation - may the Name of the God of Jacob protect you.

  2.  

  3. May He send you help from Heaven and keep you safe from Sion.

  4. May He be mindful of all your sacrifices and may all your holocausts be fatty.

  5. May He grant you your heart’s desire and fulfil all your counsel.

  6. We shall rejoice in your salvation – and in the name of the Lord our God we shall be made great.

  7. May the Lord grant all your petitions – for now I know that the Lord has sent Jesus Christ His son, - Who will judge the Peoples in justice.

  8. For the Lord has been made the refuge of the poor - their helper in times of trial and may they who know His Name hope in Him.

  9. Blessed be the Lord my God – because He has become my supporter and my refuge in the day of my distress.

  10. My helper, to You will I sing a psalm - because God my supporter - is my God, my mercy.
